MimixMe is an AI-powered voice cloning application designed for entertainment purposes only. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use our app.
The Short Version: We process voice recordings temporarily to create AI-generated voice clips. Voice profiles are stored locally on your device. When generating clips, audio is sent to our secure backend for AI processing, then immediately deleted. We don't share your data with advertisers or third parties for marketing.

Voice Data You Provide
- Voice Recordings: Audio samples you record or upload to create voice profiles (10 seconds maximum)
- Reference Audio: Audio files stored locally on your device for voice cloning
- Profile Information: Voice names and optional profile pictures you assign to each voice
- Generated Clips: AI-generated audio clips created using the app, stored in your library
Data Processed During Generation
AI Voice Cloning Process: When you generate a voice clip, we temporarily send your reference audio and text prompt to our secure backend server running Qwen3-TTS AI model. The audio is processed, the clip is generated, and all data is immediately deleted from our servers.
Technical Data
- Device Information: Device type, iOS version, app version
- Usage Statistics: Number of generations used (to track free trial limit)
- Crash Reports: Automatically collected crash logs to improve app stability
How We Use AI Technology
Voice Cloning AI
MimixMe uses Qwen3-TTS, a state-of-the-art text-to-speech AI model, to clone voices:
- Your reference audio is analyzed to extract voice characteristics
- The AI generates new speech in the cloned voice based on your text input
- Processing happens on our secure backend servers in Google Cloud
- Generated audio is returned to your device within 5-10 seconds
- All processing data is deleted immediately after generation
Important: AI Limitations & Disclosure
- AI-Generated Content: All voice clips are clearly AI-generated and synthesized
- Not Perfect Clones: Voice similarity varies based on audio quality and voice characteristics
- Entertainment Only: This technology is for fun, comedy, and entertainment - not for impersonation or fraud
- Audio Quality: Better source audio produces better results

Prohibited Uses & Content Policy
Strictly Prohibited
- Fraud or Impersonation: Using voice cloning to deceive or defraud others
- Non-Consensual Use: Creating voice clips of people without their permission for harmful purposes

- Harassment or Bullying: Creating content to harass, threaten, or bully individuals

User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Obtaining consent before cloning someone's voice
- Using the app for entertainment and comedy only

Age Restrictions
MimixMe is rated 17+ due to the potential for mature content and misuse. Users must be at least 17 years old to use this app.
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 17
- If we discover a user is under 17, we will delete their data
- Parents should supervise use by minors
Data Retention
Local Data (Your Device)
- Voice profiles and clips: Stored until you manually delete them
- App settings: Stored until app is uninstalled
Backend Processing Data
- Retention Period: 0 seconds (immediate deletion after processing)
- Temporary Files: Automatically deleted after each generation
- No Logs: We do not retain logs of audio content
International Data Transfers
Our backend servers are located in the United States (Google Cloud - us-east4 region). By using MimixMe, you consent to your data being processed in the United States.
We use appropriate safeguards to protect your data during international transfers, including encryption and secure infrastructure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Displaying an in-app notification
- Requiring acceptance of new terms for continued use
